PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
This is a direct service leadership position designed to provide hands-on coaching direction and guidance to supervisees within a single department. In this role, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for working directly with staff in the implementation of departmental practices that are consistent with departmental policies and the agency’s treatment philosophy. Provides administrative and clinical supervision (individual and group) to clinical staff. The Clinical Supervisor will be available to perform direct service tasks according to departmental needs and work closely with service area leadership teams to collaborate on services for consumers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited or state approved program that meets criteria for licensing as a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist or clinical psychologist. Must be waiver-able or registered with the appropriate licensing board to provide psychotherapy.
- Supervised experience in individual, group and family psychotherapy with the severely emotionally disturbed.
- 1-2 years’ experience as a clinician.
- Extensive knowledge of psychodynamics, patterns of growth and development, and proficiency and experience in diagnosis utilizing current edition of DSM.
