Under directive supervision, the Storeroom Attendant receives, disburses and requisitions, stores material and maintains inventory Assists Supervisor with purchases for stores inventory and is responsible for establishing storeroom procedures and computerization through SAP
Responsible for writing purchase requisitions for storeroom material and supplies when inventory quantities are reduced below requirements, maintains necessary catalogs and parts lists as references when ordering materials.
Obtains information from operating and maintenance personnel regarding new spare and replacement parts to be ordered. Responsible for follow up with suppliers to insure deliveries, mails or tags material as required and stores same Assists maintenance employees and lead operators in retrieving parts needed for mill or any other production repairs.
