Job Description Looking for Front Desk Staff/ Room Attendants / Housekeeper / Houseman / Laundry Attendants Location - Hotel in Fairlawn, NJ 07410 Housekeeping Job Description: Picks up extra cleaning and guest room supplies in the Housekeeping department. Cleans assigned quota of rooms daily according to standards. Maintains a clean and neat area at all times. Replaces guest room amenities as necessary. Reports all maintenance problems to Supervisor / Engineering. Keeps linen closets clean. Stocks area for next day. Check vacuum bags, emptying if full. Offers assistance to guests in a courteous manner. Reports and delivers lost and found items to the Housekeeping office. Comply with OSHA safety standards. Must be able to carry 50lb and stand for at least 7 hours. Available to work on weekends and holidays. Adhere to attendance standards and be punctual. Be a Team Player! Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces Ability to exert physical effort in being able to clean 16 rooms per shift Front Desk Job Description: The Front Desk Agents will check-in/out guests, provide them with comfortable & welcoming atmosphere; making reservations, resolve guests issues while promoting the hotel amenities. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Welcome and greet guests professionally.Collect payment, arrange for guests amenities.Check hotel guest in/out as per hotel standard operating procedures.Follow Mission, Vision and Value standards throughout the guest experience.Address questions and concerns of guests and staff in an efficient, cordial, and professional manner.Perform special projects and other duties as delegated by manager SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum 1 year hotels experience is a MUSTProficient in receptions/ reservation systems (Knowledge of hotel system preferred).Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays & weekends.Excellent verbal and written communication skills requiredPhysical mobility to bend, lift, and stand for prolonged periods.Ability to focus attention on customers' needs and wishes-Ability to prioritize, organize and make appropriate judgmentsAbility to maintain positive relations and work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
