This position would be responsible for three main areas: • City-wide Safety Officer. This position would oversee and direct the City's safety and IIPP program. The position would work closely with each department across the City to develop and implement effective safety programs and training strategies, and ensure proper documentation and compliance with State and Federal regulations. • Regulatory Compliance. This position would work to ensure that our Public Works Operations maintain compliance in the areas of stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, solid waste, and hazardous materials management. • Project Management and Grant Management. The City is looking for candidates with strong project management skills with experience in public works, solid waste, water quality, construction, grant administration, and who can keep programs moving forward at a fast pace.
