Vice President - Sales Operations

Position Description:

As a Vice President – Sales Operations you will lead the sales process for the Redwood organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute of overall sales process and training for sales department, fostering continuous process improvement
  • Develop and analyze metrics for sales department; oversee production
  • Assist management and HR with strategic hiring plans for sales department
  • Provide ongoing leadership and training for sales department
  • Provide ongoing training for sales department to achieve maximum profitability across all service/modes
  • Provide scheduled reports and analysis on sales, pipeline, volume to management
  • Accountability for achievement of sales objectives
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years demonstrated sales management performance in freight brokerage or third party logistics environment
  • Understands dynamics of pricing models within the logistics industry; keeps current on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Leads by example and uses influence to achieve desired results
  • Processes strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
