Columbia River Mental Health Services provides comprehensive behavioral health and recovery services that transform the lives of children, adults and families in the communities of SW Washington. We are the largest and oldest not-for-profit provider of mental/chemical dependency treatment in southwest Washington with 200 employees and an agency history dating back to 1942.

We are seeking a CDP or CDPT to join our NorthStar team. The successful candidate will have a CDPT Certification from the State of Washington and an Associates of Arts degree specializing in Chemical Dependency Studies. Will consider students currently enrolled in a local college level Addiction program. Experience in providing outpatient treatment to individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and mental health diagnosis (Co-occurring). Mental health experience preferred. CDP Certification and 2 years’ of experience preferred. A pre-hire drug screen, criminal background check and annual TB testing are required.

Job Duties will include:
  • Provide clinical services to include, but not limited to: bio-psycho-social chemical dependency assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling.
  • Provide crisis intervention services in a fast paced environment as necessary.
  • Maintain all required paperwork/charting requirements as established by agency contracts.
  • Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships both within the agency and community at large.
  • Facilitate education and process groups.
  • Attend staff and planning meetings as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Status: Full-time

Hours:

Tuesday- Friday: 5:30am-2:30pm

Saturday: 5:30am-12pm
