Working from a home office, this position will support a West Coast territory. The specific location within the West is flexible; however, must be within reasonable driving distance of a major airport.

BridgeHealth is seeking an aggressive self-starter responsible for prospecting and closing new business in this quota-carrying, individual contributor role while cultivating new and existing relationships.
  • Acquire new sales with government/labor/public sector verticals in order to meet sales goals.
  • Provide a consultative approach to direct prospects, consultants, brokers and others throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of new prospects through proactive outreach, including cold calling, industry event participation, referrals, etc.
  • Adhere to Sales Activity expectations including meeting participation, webinar hosting, calendar management, Salesforce maintenance, etc.
  • Direct and deliver new client relationships; facilitate transition to the Implementation team.
  • Successfully establish and maintain collaborative, meaningful relationships with colleagues and leadership, clients, prospects, vendors and partners.
  • Secure all pertinent information and data necessary for appropriate and competitive pricing of prospective customers.
  • Provide market intelligence on product and service needs in the marketplace
Requirements:

You Have:
  • Successfully meet or exceeded sales quotas with a demonstrated track record of lead generation, business development and execution with health plan decision makers
  • 5 to 10 years experience selling healthcare related solutions
  • Working knowledge of the government and public-sector RFP process
  • Experience negotiating various types of contracts including PEPM, risk sharing, performance-based, multi-year, transactional and/or service guaranteed performance
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills along with a captivating presentation style
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • An ability to travel up to 50% of the time with overnight travel included
