Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled environment
  • Greets and provides our guests with fun, friendly, focused service while taking orders and serving food and beverages
  • Has knowledge of ingredients of food being served and prices of both food and drinks
  • Check guests identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to guests excessive drinking by taking steps such as being aware of how many drinks a guest has ordered
  • Awareness of product on hand and being proactive to ensure that necessary supplies are always available
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of sale, sanitary food-handling practices
  • Maintain personal health and sanitation standards (wash hands after using the restroom, etc.)
  • Communicate with outlet regarding needs for supplies as they occur
  • Ability to accept payments and give correct change
  • Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance and/or safety
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Dealing directly with the public. This includes serving guests in restaurant/bar/casino and receiving guests
  • Ability to obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
  • Ability to read, write, and understand orders
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Ability to handle cash, give change and balance receipts at the end of the shift
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
  • Standing and walking during entire shift
  • Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pouts, carries and pushes
  • Lifts and carries supplies, tubs, and cases, weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Essential hand/eye coordination
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior restaurant/bar/casino work environment
  • Noise level is moderate to high
