Restaurants Unlimited, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, organized, and motivated self-starter to join our Finance department as a Financial Analyst at our corporate home office in Seattle, WA. The Financial Analyst will support the financial planning and analysis team by producing and delivering financial and operational analyses which will allow the business to drive efficiency and improvements, with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Weekly flash reporting of financial results and forecast
• Providing financial analysis around marketing efforts
• Collecting and analyzing meaningful quantitative data
• Ability to effectively communicate results to Director of Finance and other department leaders
• Designing, maintaining and collaborating with IT and other relevant stakeholders to create reports based on
collected data
• Research complex business cases and provides a concise overview along with recommendations and next
steps
• Maintaining data integrity
• Preparing annual budget and forecast models

Requirements

Job Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* 2+ years related experience
* BA/BS degree
* Experience preparing, analyzing and presenting forecast, actual and budget variances
* Budget experience
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL and Access
* Ability to interact effectively with software developers on technical reporting and data assignments
* Highly analytical and detail oriented with capacity to understand big picture implications
* Evidence of stretch assignments that reflect superior performance in previous roles
* Ability to thrive and grow quickly in a fast growing company
* Displays experience and/or ability to research and document processes
* Flexible and able to work autonomously
* Ability to present data at a high level to senior executives in various formats (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
* Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
* Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
* Experience with writing and/or editing reports in a BI tool preferred (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SharePoint)
