Engineering Intern

Job Description:

Engineering Assistant supports engineers in preparing documents needed for interaction with customers as well as in creating, revising and coordinating technical work plans

Communication and coordination within the technical team and with the operational team are key components for this position

Primary responsibilities are to help submit concessions to customers as needed, and to track and expedite tasks to ensure critical dates are met

Assist engineers to help process non-conforming material to the customer

Looking at parts, checking tolerances and conformity/nonconformity

Reviewing blueprints and engineered drawings

Document information into production system, excel spreadsheet and then into customer portals

Communicate effectively with engineers, operators, customers, shop floor, etc.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree or experience in AUTOCAD systems

Proficient in Microsoft excel

Open to a Mon - Fri Day shift
