Now Hiring for Customer Solutions Specialists!

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and process the sale of enrollments or changes on current protection plans
  • Explain various travel insurance plans offered including benefits and exclusions
  • Work with customers or travel agents to upgrade sales
  • Provide accurate, timely and courteous responses to inquiries regarding protection plans to individual callers and travel agents
  • Explain and answer questions on various programs offered including benefits and exclusions after the purchase of a protection plan
  • Expedite the resolution to protection plan modifications
  • Work with policy holders and/or travel agents to edit policies, including, but not limited to, the processing of Refund Requests, Date Transfers and Beneficiary Changes
  • Review and respond to written correspondence regarding policy issues / revisions from policy holders and travel agent partners
  • Work closely with Third Party Administrator(s) and Travel Agents
  • Order brochures in large quantity for travel agencies or travel suppliers
  • Respond to voice mail messages in a timely manner
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Insurance background / knowledge a plus
  • Travel background / knowledge a plus/basic world geography
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and planning skills including the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Sound judgment, strong problem solving skills and high level of initiative
  • Excellent telephone voice and ability to work well under pressure
  • Commitment to dependability, flexibility and company loyalty
  • Ability to work well independently

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor degree
  • Minimum two-year customer service experience required
  • Previous sales experience
  • Demonstrated experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to obtain a limited insurance license in all 50 US States
  • Ability to type at least 25 words/minute
