$15/hour Press Operator

Candidates ON THE FIRST DAY:

- Must be able to properly start and end coil strips without miss hits or die damage.

- Must be able to thread a straightened strip from the entry part of the feed.

- Must be able to start strip through the die and begin continuous machine operation.

- Recognize coil straightness or alignment problems.

- Thorough working knowledge of decoiler/straightner and crane controls, functions and safe coil handling practices, able to properly and safety load a coil and start a strip as described above.

- Ability and knowledge to assist with setups, including clamping, alignment adjustments, and minor probe adjustments. Also includes the transfer system changeover between jobs including transfer bars and their adjustment.

- Must be able reset light curtains based on part number set up requirements.

This position will train candidates for one week. Candidates MUST have prior experience operating a metal stamping press for at least 1 year. Candidates who do not have this experience will not be considered.

This position needs to start the week of 3/12/2018-3/16/2018. Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug and background check.
