Production Helper - Full-time / Part-time

We are looking to hire multiple Production Helpers for a contract-to-hire, full time, long term opportunity. We are looking for individuals that are interested in an entry-level position with growth opportunities.

Production helpers will have various assignments throughout the shop including cleaning, deburring, moving materials, polishing product, prepping, sorting for shipment, etc. for a heavy steel manufacturing plant. Beams are fabricated from raw material and shipped out of all different sizes.

Qualifications Include:

• Able to lift 50 lbs consistently
• Proficient at reading a tape measure
• Job requires standing for long periods of time
• 2nd shift availability
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills and understanding of units of measure
• Drug screen and non-DOT physical required prior to start
