Aerotek is looking for a Chemical Operator to fill a role in an industrial organic chemical manufacturing company in Downtown Louisville, KY.
Job Description:
Looking for a candidate with manufacturing experience. Experience in Mixing or Blending is preferred.
This person will be responsible for mixing, blending, and measuring chemicals.
- Responsible for Batch Sheets
- Measuring on yields
- Coloristics
- Making pigment for printing inks
- Handle acids, dyes, strip filter press
- Operate 4 different tanks
This process runs 5 days per week, so we need someone very dependable and detail oriented.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience reading measurements, reading material lists, and making minor adjustments to machines.
- Experience dumping and pouring mixtures in a tank.
- Good attendance history
Work Environment:
- Candidate must be okay with working in a very dark environment. There is blue color all over the facility and this person must be ok with getting their hands dirty.
- The culture in this environment is very laid back and family oriented.
- The turn-over in the facility is very low and most employees have worked there for over 10-15 years.
Pay rate: $13-$14/hour, depending on experience
Working 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
