Material Handler

Job duties for the material handler position include:

• Moves and stacks materials using a forklift when needed
• Performs receiving and pre-ship functions of all types of material
• This would include duties such as verifying that part numbers and quantities match the bundling sheets
• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensures quality of shipped items by verifying and identifying information and quality/condition of items as well as taking steps necessary to protect items from damage while they are being loaded and transported to vendors and customers
• Ensures the material being received and shipped conforms to customer's requirements
• Accurately process all required paperwork and documentation for entry in the computer system
