Currently have openings as a clean room press operator for the 3rd shift. Please look below for the job description and what they are looking for.
Also, people with strong ability with mechanical tools as well as ability to work the flexible schedule will be ideal.
This company manufactures o-rings for a variety of different industries (oil field and semiconductors mainly). This person will be cross trained to work in the clean room, as well as outside the clean room on the black Chemraz line to run multiple presses simultaneously.
They will be responsible for preparing jobs, setting up machines, and keeping up with the production lines. Attention to detail and quality of work is the most important thing to them!
Essential Functions:
1. Must be able to read work instructions, work orders & written instructions.
2. Retrieve & clean molds for production.
3. Store molds.
4. Transport molds, tooling.
5. Make preforms, record material usage.
6. Operate presses, deflash & inspect parts as necessary to ensure highest quality.
7. Follow all SPC procedures.
8. Move molded parts to next operation as required.
9. Record daily activities.
10. Cleanliness - maintain facility housekeeping, clean machines & work areas.
11. Mill rubber batches & weigh out compound ingredients accurately.
12. Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as: Eye Protection, Protective Gloves, Ear Protection
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Pull flash, cut vents & count parts.
2. Rinse & bag parts as required.
3. Transport work in process & finished goods within & between departments as necessary.
4. Perform miscellaneous duties in the work area as assigned
