Job description
Responsibilities Include:
- Balancing safety, quality, productivity, and cost to achieve highest possible efficiency's, and continuous improvement in all areas
- Ensures effective employee relations, provides coaching and development
- Resolves employee issues through problem resolution
- Manages departmental performance and provides regular reports to manager
- Manages absenteeism and applies proper disciplinary procedures when required
- Implements company policies and performs accident investigations
- Responsible for all other duties assigned
Minimum Qualifications Include:
- Leadership abilities to lead and gain results through others
- Ability to measure performance to goals and standards
- An ability to manage multiple priorities
- Problem analysis and resolution skills
- An ability to balance and achieve results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and cost reductions
- Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Preferred Associate's Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering or similar field
- A minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment
