An Industry Leading Health Benefit Management Company located near the Mamaroneck, NY are is seeking Provider Services Representatives to join their Call Center Team on an immediate basis! Great company with opportunity for growth and advancement.
Qualifications:
- Customer service representative with experience in a healthcare environment with a concentration in provider relations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with provider administrative and billing protocols.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- A provider representation for Health Insurance benefit plan
- Conveying the benefits and obligations of membership in health insurance plan
- Distributing information to providers and staff.
- Monitoring of services to ensure providers satisfaction.
- Ensuring that established care guidelines are communicated.
- Serve as liaison for any communication between client and
- Assists providers with practice management information when appropriate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Call Center or High Volume Call experience a must
- Previous Healthcare experience (patient insurance verification, authorization, claims, etc). a must
- Proficiency in operating computers applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Must be willing to submit to a Background Screening
Compensation:
$15/hr for first 6 Months of Employment; Upon Conversion Salary Increase to $34k plus benefit package
Shift: 8:30 - 5:00pm or 9 - 5:30pm
