Junior Civil Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Engineering is currently looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to join one of it's client's team in Springfield. This candidate will be assisting Engineers by performing engineering assignments and design. This candidate will be working on different projects within transportation and land development.

Job Duties:

• Civil design calculations, sketches, and technical comparisons
• Coordinating with other engineers and EIT's
• Reviewing drawings from contractors, clients and engineers with the ability to recommend changes
• Attend design review meetings and provide project cost estimating
• Assist with all duties provided by Project Engineers and Project Managers

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience within transportation, water, or land development
• Minimum 2 years experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Mircostation
• Engineer in Training Certificate (EIT)
