A machine buidling company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join its team!

Qualified candidates must be efficiently capable of participating in the building of all electro-mechanical assemblies including complex electro-mechanical assemblies which incorporate electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems according to blueprint specifications. Perform a variety of complicated tasks by relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities are below:

  • Assemble, test, repair and install complex electro-mechanical assemblies such as Post-Process Gage Assemblies and related Gauge and Automated Systems, assemblies which incorporate electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems according to blueprint specifications.
    • Post Process gauges.
    • Flip stations
    • Orientation stations
    • Middle shuttles
    • Special part in feed and out feed systems
    • Electrical Panels
  • Examine component parts for defects, recognize engineering design issues, initialize component inspection procedures and implement corrective actions (Return to stock Forms, Formal Component Inspection and/or engineering change requests).
  • Measure electro-mechanical parts to ensure conformance to specific dimensions and lay out reference points for holes, trim lines, part locations using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, optical equipment, alignment instruments etc.
  • Ensure fit and clearance of components parts by using hand tools and power tools.
  • Align, fit and assemble hydraulic, structural and mechanical components associated with electro-mechanical builds into completed assemblies using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand and power tools.
  • Test functional performance and the ability to troubleshoot complex completed assemblies such as electrical circuit assemblies, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, linear guide alignment using appropriate test equipment and assembly procedures.
  • Strong soldering skills, (electrical connectors, Amphenol connectors, etc), soldering certification preferred.
  • High proficiency using pliers, wire cutters, crimping tools, soldering tools, wrenches, screwdrivers and other hands tools is required.
  • Rework, replace, and realign parts, adjust valves, re-torques fittings, and retest units to ensure conformance to engineering specifications.

This position is 1st shift (7am-3:30pm). The company is willing to pay $16-$20/hr based one candidate's experience.
