Logistics:

- Full Time position
- PREVIOUS MEDICAL BILLING AND COLLECTIONS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
- Contract to Hire
Job Description:
- all outbound calls for outstanding accounts
- manage client billing collections for client accounts
- coordinate with sales and senior management teams on account collection status
- optimize revenue and cash receipts
- send out monthly delinquency notices
- provide excellent customer service
They will work closely with the billing and payment posting teams internally.
Most of the calls are more fact-finding than tough collections - helping customers resolve issues and re-sending any statements as needed.
Work Environment:
-They will work closely with the billing and payment posting departments.
-Very fast-paced, high volume environment. Must be willing to be at their desk all day making calls.
-This is a creative and innovative team. They need to be resourceful, take initiative, and work as a team to find solutions
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience in Medical Billing (Laboratory billing, a plus)
- 2+ years of experience with inbound and outbound calls
- min.6 months of high volume medical collections experience (corporate/business to business NOT patient)
- Pivot tables/V lookups/manipulating data in Excel
- Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook (a lot of email follow up)
Performance Expectations:
Must pass drug screen, background check!
