Hiring for a company in the Louisville area that is going through a great deal of growth! We are looking for Controls Engineers and Electrical Hardware Design Engineers who are looking to join an excellent organization with a proven record of success.

These roles will complete the design and development of conveyor control systems for UPS and FedEx.

Responsibilities of a PLC/GDU/HMI Programmer will include:

  • This person will be doing offline and onsite programming PLC's and integrating HMI's for various projects that Diversified is working on:
  • conveyor/sortation integration and controls programming
  • Programming GE, Allen Bradley (RSLogix 5000, Controllogix) or Modicon PLC's
  • Programming Rockwell or Seimens Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's)
  • Programming HMI applications such as Wonderware and RSview's is CRITICAL for this position and their upcoming projects with UPS
  • Communication design with: controlnet, devicenet, profibus and Ethernet/IP

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree for this position (Electrical Engineering)
  • MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH PROGRAMMING PLC's, ALLEN BRADLEY, MODICON or GE
  • Must also be able to program HMI's and VFD's
  • Must be able to set up communication networks between PLC's such as ethernet/IP
  • Experience with RSLogix 5000 software and Controllogix hardware are required for this position!!
  • Embedded and Software Engineers with material handling or similar industry experience are also welcome for these positions.

Travel will be an expected 30-35% of the role.

Bonus potential can be SIGNIFICANT and will be based on individual and company performance.
