About this job
The Electrician will be partnered up with a mechanic majority of the time, so 90% of the work is electrical.
- Will be handed work orders and will have to manage all of those assignments as they come in.
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuses.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all electrical equipment.
- Will be working with a maintenance team and partnered with a mechanic most of the time.
- Working with a computer and a CMMS Program(Computer based maintenance system).
- Working with line drive and Allen Bradley PLC's.
- Need to have knowledge of schematics and technical manuals/blueprints
- Wiring motors
- Need experience working with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters
- Diagnosing and testing motors and motor circuit controls.
