Looking to hire a Process Technician for a 1st shift, direct placement position for an automotive supplier company in Lafayette, Indiana!
Process techs take over the injection mold processes when running new parts, or when there are quality issues with parts being run. There are many aspects to the injection mold process that can affect the parts being run. Machines too hot, water leaking into machine, back pressure in screw, and water being introduced to the product are just a few issues. Other issues could be mechanical issues with hydraulics, or mold and press issues. This person will need to work to figure out how to fix those issues to make sure that parts are compliant with customer orders. The will be working with the Japanese process techs and will be working with the Process Tech in Greencastle to get machines up and running.
This company is an automotive supplier for Subaru - that is their only client. They are Japanese owned and overall a very clean environment.
Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay: $25-28/hr
Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6AM-3:30/4PM, little overtime
Placement: Direct hire, full time
MUST HAVE:
- Injection molding experience - processing the machines
- Experience working with parameters on the machines
- Troubleshooting background
- DOE experience (Design of Experiment)
