About this job

DUTIES

  • Responsible for updating an excel log with background check information for new hires
  • Assist with processing new hire on boarding paperwork
  • Organize, maintain, and verify employee information; maintain accurate employee files and databases
  • Ensure employee records are in compliance with Human Resources laws
  • Keep all employee information completely confidential
  • Respond to emails and phone inquiries from employees regarding issues such as payroll, new hire paperwork, HR laws etc.; direct employees to the appropriate department or individual for assistance if necessary

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of relevant secretarial/administrative experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Basic understanding of Human Resource functions
  • Knowledge of all related computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Well organized and able to multitask
