About this job

Overview:
Accountable for the analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products and stability samples.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of laboratory management, this individual performs tests, assays and measurements of raw materials, in-process samples and drug products. Also provide data for formulation development support to improve existing or to develop new products. Write analytical reports and investigational documents, as needed, using appropriate technical terminology and with scientifically sound explanations and justification of any conclusion. Conduct method validations.

Essential Job Functions:
Under the direction of laboratory management, this individual:
Performs tests and analysis of raw materials, bulk and finished products, scale-up samples, process validation samples, cleaning validation samples, and stability samples using a variety of standard and advanced analytical techniques.
Assists in conducting analytical method validation and method transfer activities, as directed.
Assists in preparing technical documentation including test reports; analytical test procedures; and change controls.
Supports systems to ensure the successful completion of Departmental goals and objectives.
Assists in the preparation of documents to report analytical test results.
Assists Metrologists in laboratory equipment qualifications, calibrations and preventative maintenance programs, as needed.
Manages USP reference standards and the qualification of secondary standards, as needed.

Must Haves:
2+ years of Solid Dosage, generic pharmaceutical routine testing on R&D Stability Samples- ANDA
HPLC(Waters- Empower), GC, Dissolution, UV-Vis
cGMP/GLP experience
BS in Chemistry or other related degrees
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and deviations
