AutoCAD Technician

I am currently hiring motivated Drafters for our growing teams in Des Moines and Ames!

Our drafting team uses AutoCAD, Revit and AutoCAD MEP

Reading project plans and creating designs in AutoCAD.
Perform "take-offs" - review specifications
Check drawings and take-off for accuracy of price for estimation
This person will be drafting 75% of the day and the other 25% of their day will be working with sales representatives and customers to gather all information.
Excel - maintain an updated spreadsheet of information on upcoming projects and present that information to the sales staff on a regular basis.
Assist the steel coordinator to set up the scheduling, shipping and transfer of material with other company sites.
Help create quotes for estimates based on designs
steel/Concrete forming design

Must Haves:
AutoCAD
Associates Degree or 1+ year of related work experience
