Environmental Specialist

MUST HAVES:
* 40 hour OSHA (CFR 1910.120)


JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Seeking an Environmental Specialist in regulated waste and resource recovery

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manifesting
* Packaging / lab packing / consolidation of chemicals and waste
* Spill response
* Hydroblasting/pressure washing
* Traveling to client sites with managers (client interaction)
* Meeting with our customers and physically loading the materials onto the truck using a variety of methods
* Labeling
* Loading/unloading trucks
* Coordinating transportation
* Sampling/profiling material
* Drum management / container management
* Classifying / separating chemicals
* Hazardous and non-hazardous material handling
* General maintenance and up-keeping

WILL WORK IN A ROTATION:
* Will start in the facility for about a month then get shifted to their different services (for example lab packing or dot training), get to go to client sites with various Project Managers

OTHER:
* This job requires physical labor (will have to lift up to 50 lbs)
* Will be trained on forklift
