Lab Technician/Chemist

Aerotek is looking for 2 Lab Technicians to fill roles in a Food Manufacturing company in Louisville, KY.

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for the routine daily activities in the Quality Assurance laboratory of a food processing facility. Duties include finished and raw ingredient product testing against known specifications, reporting and discussing results with key production personnel, monitoring label validity, obtaining customer samples, laboratory QC and the documentation of all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills
• At least 2 years college with courses in Biology and Chemistry, or previous experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in the food processing industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Chemistry highly preferred
• Computer skills are necessary.

Must be open to working 1st or 2nd shift.
