Laborer:

Aerotek is seeking a Laborer for a manufacturing/production company in Dupo, IL.

Job Description:

• The candidate will need to be willing to work in the pipe yard.
• They will be moving metal pipe and pipe pieces and getting it organized.
• They will lift up to 75 lbs by hand and then when they cant lift it they will flag it for the forklift operator to move.
• It would be a plus if they know how to drive a forklift, but they will not drive until perm.
• Safety in the yard is very important. If one pipe falls it could crush not only machines but people.
• They will also be in charge of cleaning the shop, they will move parts, put tools away and clean them, wrap hoses, and sweep floors.
• If there is nothing to do in the shop they could work in the office cleaning, or painting.

Work Environment:

Hot, dirty, semi dangerous, wear steel toed boots, pants and a work shirt. Glasses required in the shop.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Must have 1 year of tape measure experience
• Candidates who have operated any type of power tools are preferred

Shift:

M-F 7am-3:30pm
