AEROTEK IS NOW INTERVIEWING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES IMMEDIATELY - FURNITURE DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE LOCATED IN THE CITY OF WALNUT/INDUSTRY IS SEEKING MOTIVATED FORKLIFT OPERATORS TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!
Job Description:
Perform order pulling duties with forklift as assigned as well as other warehouse duties such as offloading own merchandise to dock doors.
No certification needed (company does own certification as long as candidates pass pre-employment screen). MUST have 2 years of RECENT experience on TURRET, CHERRY PICKER, STAND-UP REACH, STAND UP forklifts
Work Environment:
- Warehouse Distribution
- Fast paced
- Not climate controlled
- Heavy forklift/pedestrian traffic
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of RECENT experience on TURRET, CHERRY PICKER, STAND-UP REACH, STAND UP forklifts
- Shipping/receiving experience, RF scanner experience, order pulling experience
- Willing to submit to a Drug test and Background Check
- Eligible for employment in the United States
- Must be comfortable standing, twisting, lifting throughout the shift
- Available Full-Time including overtime and weekends based on business needs
Performance Expectations:
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and timely manner
- MUST be able to lift up to 50lbs without accommodations
- MUST be able to work 40 hours/week plus overtime AND weekends on an as need basis
- MUST be flexible to work in different departments
- Good verbal communication skills
Available Shifts (6 month contract-to-hire):
- 1st shift: Thursday-Monday, 5am-1:30pm, $14.25/hour
- 2nd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11:30pm, $14.75/hour
