About this job
Aerotek is currently looking for a Cad Technician to assist in the production of maps and drawings. Primary focus with be NCDOT projects, but also works in other sectors.
Job responsibilities:
- This person is responsible for the production of maps and drawings.
- The major objectives are the quality (accuracy, thoroughness, clarity) of work, meeting schedules, within budgets, and responsive service to client.
- This person will coordinate the production of maps and drawings to cover all details so that the quality is present and budgets and schedules are met.
- This person will be responsible for downloading/uploading field data, technical production of maps and drawings using various software platforms, communicating with project team.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Autocad, Civil 3D or Microstation
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Excel
- Must have good Mathematical skills
