Currently looking for NYS Certified Medical Technologists to join the team of a prominent hospital in Rockland County, NY.
Job Summary:
- Perform analysis of clinical specimens including blood, urine, body fluids and others.
- Perform testing on proficiency samples, quality control, standards, and calibrators.
- Ability to perform manual methods, including kits and able to run all lab instrumentation.
- Troubleshoots problems and performs maintenance on instruments and takes corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory technologist
- BS graduate from an accredited Medical Technology program (preferred). ASCP (preferred)
- NYS Certified Medical Technologist
Compensation:
- Competitive pay offered based on experience
