Industrial Job Shop Manual Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

Manual Machinist - Candidate will be responsible for operation of Manual Mills and Lathes, Vertical Turret Lathes ( up to 240 Inch ) , Vertical Boring Mills, Drill Pressess, and Vertical Grinders. In addition to the above listed responsibilities candidate will machine, repair and rebuild of components including but not limited to pumps, shafts, gears, drives,valves and turbines. Must be proficient in machining one off pieces due to level of customization's. They will be using some hand tools to make adjustments to the machines.

Fabrication shop with top tier equipment. Very team oriented and all employees must be willing and able to work with others on custom projects. Hours are 6 to 6 on both sides of the clock. Dress code is work boots, jeans, polo and eye protection.

This position requires 3 - 5 years of custom machining and reverse engineering. They are only looking for candidates with good work history that are looking for a long term career move. Do not like Machinists from production environments such as Gulf stream and Hobart.

Perf Exp: Very physical work. Expected to perform safety orientation and week training with Management for first week. Immediately put into the shop and / or field to work on outages and other fabrication needs.

Day in the life: Candidate will be performing all of the job functions listed above. They will also be asked to go in the field, set up equipment, and perform machining on site at customers locations. They must have a great work ethic, attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond.

This is a full time opportunity with great benefits and overtime. The candidate must be willing to work full time and go on permanent after a contract to hire period.
