Aerotek is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis on existing structures (including self-supporting, mono-poles, mounts, rigging plans)
Job Duties include
- Prepare formal, written reports detailing structural capacity
- Review request for engineering services to determine that adequate information is provided
- Review tower structures and foundations and propose revisions, as needed
- Assist with design of modifications for telecommunication infrastructure reinforcing, extensions and foundations
- Work with Designer staff on the development of modification drawings
- Conduct periodic site visits to ensure proper implementation of engineering designs
Qualifications include
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- EIT/EI preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD required
- Working knowledge of structural components, design methods, proper steel detailing, structural analysis software, tower structures
