NAPA is a Parts Store and So much more! We are driven to have the best people on our team to get the right parts to the right place at the right time. We already said that we are “so much more” and to prove it, we are looking for an Automotive Aftermarket and/or Collision Industry talent to manage our National Paint, Body and Equipment (PBE) program at our headquarters location in Atlanta, GA. The Role:

Do you have an Automotive Aftermarket background? We would love to hear from you! Do you have an Auto Body Collision Industry background coupled with automotive aftermarket, paint and body shop business? Then we would really love to hear from you! This is truly a special opportunity for a bright collision industry professional who is ready to take the next step with a super brand to move into a strategic collision program management role.

 

This is the right opportunity for you if you:

  • Have at least 2 to 4 years in the automotive aftermarket, OEM, accessories, parts, shop management, or automotive paint industry, basically anything in the automotive aftermarket world
  • Know the body shop business either in a sales or management capacity
  • Are ready to take your automotive expertise and transition into a role where you are managing a program
  • Possess the energy to be an ambitious self-starter, idea generator, and someone who can create and put great processes in place for others to follow
  • Want ownership of a truly unique program that allows you to make it your own, yet still have support from leadership
  • Thrive off of being a trusted resource, leader, and go to person for guidance
  • Are able to not only build relationships with your customers, but sustain and nurture them as well. 
  • Understand and keep your focus on the end-user of a program
  • Passion for creating a successful program for field locations

A Day in the life:

  • Manage the National Paint, Body, and Equipment (PBE) program by effectively positioning NAPA for success in the collision industry and industrial space.
  • Manage supplier relationships and develop go-to-market product strategy for the PBE category.
  • Assists field management with strategic store openings of Genuine Paints stores nationally.
  • Identify growth opportunities for NAPA within the collision industry
  • Enhance NAPA’s PBE product portfolio and analyze competitive product portfolios to provide market research insights
  • Utilizes industry relationships to generate sales leads for NAPA
  • Acts Serve as a resource to NAPA independent stores, with a focus on PBE products and the collision industry
  • Manage Genuine Paints store program at the Headquarters level
  • Support field management with market analyses and collision industry information
  • Manage supplier relationships and NAPA’s Paint, Body, and Equipment (PBE) product offerings
  • Provide guidance and act as a resource liaison to NAPA independent stores and between NAPA Headquarters and NAPA System Selling Group
  • Own collision center contract and subsidy programs at Headquarter level
  • Enhance product offering for NAPA Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) locations
  • Develop national quarterly PBE marketing publication for stores and end users
  • Maintain industry relationships; anticipate and address changing collision industry dynamics
  • Create PBE categorical reporting to present to senior management

 

What you’ll need: 

  • 5+ years professional experience required; experience within collision industry and automotive aftermarket strongly preferred
  • Ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms and audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, manage conflict, and resolve issues.
  • Passion for internal/external customer care
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and very organized.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft suite.

  • Program Management to support store or collision center initiatives 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Automotive Technology Program Degree
  • Collision/Body shop Owner and/or Manager
  • Paint, Body, Equipment sales or store management
  • Automotive Restoration or Refinish Technician  
  • I-Car certifications/training 
  • ASE
  • College degree or equivalent sales experience or successful retail management experience preferred.
  • Background in the Automotive Industry
