To be the preferred source for a NAPA Store's Sales and Counter Personnel for answers to questions pertaining to their Tools and Equipment needs. Offer in depth knowledge of current promotions, warranty information, pricing and availability, equipment specifications and price quotes to provide high quality Customer Service in an organized and timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Via phone and email provide accurate and detailed price quotes
  • Verify a Product Availability at the Distribution Center or from a Specific Supplier
  • Provide Technical Assistance regarding an items given specifications
  • Offer Customer Service Direction
  • Catalog Assistance
  • Special Order Processing
  • Equipment Specifications and Details
  • Warranty Information
  • Explain Program Details
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: To meet APG mission/vision/values through strategic execution of plans designed to increase sales, develop relationships and create superior customer service experiences.
  • Engage in regular communication with the Regional Manager/Tool Hub Director/Suppliers/T&E Sales Reps regarding customer service and sales related issues and plans.
  • Customer Focus and Revenue Growth: Fully and quickly address sales and service questions, problems and sales opportunities utilizing D.C. and manufacturer resources and inventory.
  • Develops good customer relations and maintains a high level of customer service.
  • Insures that customer standards are met and all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Increase Sales by offering Specific Promotions to stores based upon Excess Inventory available along with any manufacturer one-off Specials.
  • Store Engagement: Maximizes Store Personnel engagement through communication of APG's vision and mission and the modeling of our values.
  • Clearly and Descriptively explain program details and warranty validations
  • Provide effective customer service and selling techniques which includes explaining the features and benefits of available products and services.
  • Experience, Education, and Abilities: Ability to analyze and evaluate work functions and seek to simplify tasks for improved efficiency
  • Ability to review billing activities.
  • Ability to prepare clear and detailed quotes

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely, and effectively with coworkers, stores, DC Management and Manufacturers
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, suppliers and store personnel
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Tools and Equipment product lines
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills are required, with experience with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work with limited direction as part of a larger team, requires minimal guidance and direction. 2-3 years minimal experience in Sales and or Customer Service Functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure proper identification of parts for placement in the facility, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately.
