SVP Business Development/Emerging Channels – Retail Experience Marketing

 

Advantage Retail Experience (ARX), the Retail and Experiential Business Unit of Advantage Marketing Partners, will be adding to its Executive Leadership Team with the hire of this SVP, Business Development and Emerging Channels.  The role will focus very specifically on driving and delivering incremental growth for the organization through business development and success in building out business opportunities in emerging channels. Advantage Marketing Partners has been ranked by Ad Age as the largest U.S. promotions agency and the largest U.S. experiential and event marketing agency in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to leverage ARX service portfolio to existing and potential clients and customers
  • Develop a strategy to target perspective clients
  • Work with ARX team members to implement the business development plan and provide oversight to presentation content
  • Coordinate support among Customer, Service, Sector and Team leaders to gain business as appropriate
  • Promote a culture of pay for performance

Qualifications

 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, consumer packaged goods, and/or shopper marketing agency/ organization or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience and success in a growth/business development role
  • Demonstrated success selling outsourced business or agency services to Fortune 100 brands
  • Ability to shape, lead, and present business plans and new business pitch materials
  • Experience leading a team of up to 5 direct reports
  • Demonstrated success in a matrix managed organization
