Manufacturing Engineer

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes
• Handle issues as they arise, especially regarding product defects
• Ensure products are produced according to specifications and quality standards
• Make sure that schedules are met
• Continually improve processes and efficiency or operations, including time motion studies
• Work with the engineering team on new products, including pricing
• Review and make appropriate changes for the production team’s training and instruction documentation with a focus on safety
• Oversee change management for the production team
• Communicate effectively with the plant leadership team, vendors, and customers
• Help develop responses to customer requests for bids
• Participate with decision making and negotiations for new production equipment
• Test new equipment
• Set up maintenance schedule for production equipment

Requirements:

• Related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor degree is not required but it is a plus
• Experience with small tight tolerance parts is preferred
• Thorough, organized, pay attention to details
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Have good job longevity
• Positive can-do attitude
