Job Description: Clean all surfaces using the proper equipment, tools and cleansers to maintain a professional and inviting work environment.
Remove trash to the designated receptacle.
Replenish supplies including cleansers, paper goods, light bulbs, trash bags, etc. According to instructions.
Report needs for equipment repair/replacement as well as facility repair, re-painting, etc.
Uphold the trust given when self-supervised and provided with keys and key cards to enter restricted areas.
Follow established schedules for periodic or seasonal cleaning tasks such as floor waxing and makes suggestions when these schedules need to be modified.
May be directed to clean areas of special need caused by spills, weather, special events or other occurrences and these may be inside, outdoors or even off-site.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
Shift: m-f 4a-1230p
Pay Rate: $11.50/hr
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach and push/pull required for virtually the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and assist others when lifting is required.
Hard and sometimes slippery floors.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Basic verbal and written communication skills.
