Outside Sales Representative - Construction Industry This successful growing company is a Minnesota based general contractor located in Mendota Heights with a proven track record. In business since 2003, we are a full service general contractor who specializes in all types of home repairs and improvements. A+ rating Better Business Bureau, A rating Angie's List, and Best of 2018 from Houzz. We are looking for an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative. Full time position for bright, take charge, problem-anticipating/problem-solving, customer focused individual who likes a challenge. Job Requirements: This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated closer that possesses excellent communication and presentation skills, with a true passion for sales. You should be organized, capable of going to door to door to generate your own leads, comfortable giving presentations, and be able to easily build a rapport with others and explain the construction process. Our ideal candidate has previous sales experience; however, a background in this industry is not required as we will train the right individual. This position does require that you are able to work in an outdoor environment; are comfortable climbing a ladder to inspect roofs, carry up to 25 lbs.; as well as possess a reliable cell phone and transportation. Qualifications: Successful previous work experience, written and verbal skills, build relationships, problem solver, self-starter, computer proficiency, accept every contact will not be a sale and keep making calls and follow up on company referrals. Compensation: This job combines base plus commission, our average to motivated representatives are typically earning $50k-100k during year one and can achieve higher earnings. Could be a perfect summer job during the high construction season coming up past Representatives have made 20-40K in 3-4 months!
