As a Social Media Specialist on our Talent Acquisition team, you’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong online identity to showcase the Burlington talent brand. You’ll play a key role in developing the social media strategy, creating content, and the day-to-day management of various social media platforms to maximize reach and engagement while growing our follower base, making decisions and providing recommendations with minimal direction. You’ll work closely with partners in the Internal Communications and Marketing teams, while engaging with associates throughout all parts of the organization to source and share content that aligns with Our Burlington philosophy and company core values. You’ll also be responsible for management and execution of various other digital efforts including online job postings, digital advertising, and email blasts. You’ll lead employee advocacy efforts, engaging associates as brand ambassadors to support talent branding efforts. Your strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail will be critical in ensuring all projects are executed efficiently, accurately and in line with talent brand goals. You’ll strive to increase brand awareness for the Burlington talent brand, highlighting why Burlington is a great place to work by implementing and executing a comprehensive social media and digital communication strategy to support the Talent Acquisition team’s recruitment efforts and drive results for Our Burlington team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain editorial calendar of engaging content to post every day on various social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Glassdoor.
  • Continuously create engaging graphics, photos, imagery, video and copy using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Develop innovative solutions and creative new ideas for engaging social media and digital campaigns that highlight the Burlington talent brand, continuously suggesting ways to improve content.
  • Partner with HR, Legal, and other relevant partners to look into and resolve issues brought up by associates, candidates, customers, etc. via social media.
  • Lead employee advocacy efforts, promote internal associate engagement and empower associates to share their experiences on social media.
  • Respond to messages and comments received on social media platforms in a timely and appropriate manner, taking appropriate partners when necessary.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and style to create content that aligns with Our Burlington philosophy and company core values.
  • Work with recruitment team to create engaging, SEO-friendly job postings.
  • Use social media management, social listening, and employee advocacy tools and software to achieve social media goals and measure success.
  • Track and analyze analytics to identify opportunities and benchmark results.
  • Account and relationship management related to use of various job boards, vendors and third-party partners to publicize available job opportunities regularly.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, digital advertising campaigns and email blast campaigns.
  • Manage copy, content and calendar changes on career site.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or related field, or equivalent experience, and must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Adobe Premiere Elements preferred. Experience with social media management and social listening tools preferred.
