Direct hire opportunity with our client located in the Trenton, NJ area! We are seeking an HR Generalist to fill this permanent opportunity. The Human Resources Generalist will devleop and implement HR initiatives by recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and training in a positive working environment. The Human Resources Generalist ensures company compliance with state and federal employment regulations, along with company policies and procedures.
Successful candidates will have a four year degree and previous HR experience within a production or warehouse environment. Experience in union settings and/or 3PL facilities a plus! Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, along with a great team working environment.
The responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist include:
Administer HR policies and procedures
Recruit, interview, and select team members
Be a point of contact for staffing vendors for supplemental staffing
Utilize job boards to post current opportunities
Perform pre-employment testing
Facilitate training programs
Provide guidance, coaching and support to management and team members rearding HR policies
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures
Audit files to ensure HR compliance
Perform exit interviews
Implement recognition programs for team members
Manage workers compensation claims and safety programs
