Diesel Technician Responsibilities:
Maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.
Diesel Technician Job Duties:
Determines condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion
Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related work experience.

Requirements
Diesel Technician must have the following:
1+ year work experience, ability to work on diesel engines, able to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines. HS Diploma or equivalent.
