Awesome Direct Hire opportunity for a strong electrical technician who would be excited to work with Fiber Optic Technology. Will be in a leadership role, troubleshooting issues, testing, quality assurance. This role involved international travel from one week up to six weeks at a time. Excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys travel abroad to work. Salary 65-70K plus per diem while traveling. Hours 7am-5:15pm when in Carson, OT sometimes when big orders due. Very nice environment, good people and professional team to work with. Great room for growth with the organization, they are in a solid ramp-up phase. Benefits to include paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation, one week sick pay, medical and dental (PPO or HMO). Must have or be able to get Visa/Passport able to travel to China, India, etc.



Electrical Technician
DUTIES:
ï‚
  • Perform testing and quality checks as instructed.
    ï‚
  • Ability to trouble shoot electrical controls at a systems level. When machines are first
    powered up, trouble shooting is required to find any assembly or component errors.
    ï‚
  • To build from the ground up as well as disassemble and rebuild electrical assemblies
    referencing electrical schematics and blueprints as required
    ï‚
  • Complete inspection/test and other manufacturing and quality records, as required.
    ï‚
  • Contribute to continuous product and process improvement
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    ï‚
  • General knowledge of power and electrical requirements
    ï‚
  • Familiar with standard automation components/topics. Including PLCs, motor
    controllers and drivers, temperature controllers, industrial communication standards
    and mass flow controllers.
    ï‚
  • Good understanding of general construction, assembly and connectivity concepts
    ï‚
  • Must be able to read Schematics and blueprints at an advanced level
    ï‚
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
    ï‚
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
    ï‚
  • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, and stand for long periods of time
    ï‚
  • Ability to safely lift and carry moderate to heavy components
    ï‚
  • Must be comfortable working on ladders, platforms, and scissor lifts.

  • Travel to installation sites to perform installations for typically 4-6 week periods
