Front Desk Supervisor (Hotel)
Hotel in the south bay is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor
The successful candidate should be outgoing and friendly with a gregarious personality and a natural talent for customer service.
Since they run a boutique style operation, they're uniquely positioned to give their guests exceptional attention with high organizational and time management skills.
As the supervisor, you will assist with and oversees guest check-in and check-out of the hotel.
Also ensure that all front desk employees engage politely and attentively with incoming and departing guests.
You will be responsible for assisting with cashier functions, including taking large cash amounts and handling invoices for groups and large parties.
In addition, assist the front office team in making reservations and answers incoming telephone calls.
Other duties include assisting guests with special requests. When the front desk manager takes a break or is out for the day, the supervisor can generally assist guests as the manager on duty.
Essential Duties
Communicate with the booking, housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure prompt responses to guests' needs
Make reservations or appointments for guests who want to avail themselves of local entertainment or services
Set-up and provide guest wake up calls as well as receive and transmit guest messages
Answer guest calls and record details of each conversation for future follow-up
Perform check out and cash handling activities in accordance with all hotel cashiering and credit policies
Meet and exceed guests' expectations by anticipating the services they might require and suggesting local venues
Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings
Maintain constant communication with guests in advance of weddings, corporate retreats and other in-house events to ensure we're prepared for them
Resolve any guest issues and complete special requests by working with other hotel departments
Report any accidents or injuries to senior management staff immediately
Working Hours
Shift Schedule of 40 hours a week including Holidays, Weekends, and Overnights
1st Shift: Starting at 7am
2nd Shift: Starting at between 9am~12pm
3rd Shift: Starting at 2:30pm or 3pm
Overnight Shift: Starting at 11pm

Salary
$17/h~19/h (DOE)
Qualification
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years' front desk supervisory experience
Ability to work well in a team environment
Able to stand for extended periods of time (8 hours a day)
Able to work a flexible schedule, including nighttime, weekends and holidays
Able to attend for each shift for the first month (1st Shift, 3rd Shift)
