Now hiring Furnace Operators for a Temp to Perm opportunity!
In business for over 30 years, our customer, a unique, specialty and Veteran owned manufacturer in Erie, is looking for furnace operator/general laborer.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor specialized equipment to ensure proper functioning
Adjust temperature controls of furnace
Confer with others to resolve production problems or equipment malfunctions
Record production data
Load and unload parts into furnace and clear jams as needed
Requirements include:
Close attention to details, such as monitoring gauges, dials and indicators
Able to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes is helpful
Maintaining a sense of urgency and expediency
Two shift options available:
8 hour shifts, 5 days a week (all 3 shifts) , or;
12 hour shift, 3 days on, 2 days off (every other Sunday as workload requires)
