OPERATIONS ASSOSIATE

Job Description:

• Must be able to work nights and weekends
• Provide customers with a high level of front line customer service
• Harness and Unharness climbers (youth)
• Assist in clipping and un-clipping climbers
• Ensure Climbing is conducted in a safe and appropriate manner including reviewing climbing wall safety rules
• Advise and maintain safety practices in the climbing area (slide safety, wall safety, harness safety and clip safety specifically)
• Maintain safe climbing practice
• To give advice as requested to climbers on all matters related to the climbing wall area
• To keep abreast of all new policies or procedures required for the safe operation
• To assist customers throughout the facility as requested
• To comply with all quality systems and assist in the introduction of of any new quality system procedures as required.
• Criminal Background Check is required

Qualifications:

• Must have experience in customer service
• Experience in children environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A passion for climbing and recreation
• Ability to work in a team environment and with minimal supervision
• Safety conscious, enjoy working with youth, self-directed, high energy and reliable
• Must be able to work during the weekday/evenings as well as the weekends day/evenings
• Teaching/Educator background a plus
• Criminal Background check required.

Salary: Hourly - $9 ($10 after two months of work) per hour
