This position is 1st shift, Monday-Friday from 5:30AM-4:00PM. Temp to Hire!

BCM (Bottle Coating Machine) Packaging Technician


Complete quality checks on every single coated bottle while packing them.


Start and stop the BCM.


Load the Hopper with un-coated bottles and stack boxes for use with coated bottles.


Make machine adjustments to optimize the highest cavitation.


Answer machine alarms to keep production running.


Perform pack out on Bottles as the machine and conveyers run.


Label boxes and stack them on pallets until pallet is full.


Wrap pallets using shrink wrap and put pallets on the racks using a forklift..


Clean the machine weekly and perform preventive maintenance on the machine as required.


Track all waste, including bad bottles i.e. dents etc... and non-printed bottles.

Requirements

This position requires the following:

Standing for extended periods.
Lifting up to 30lbs.
Driving a forklift.
Using a computer.
Operating Machines.
Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance procedures.
Safety toe shoes.
Mechanical and Technical skills.
Troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand operating manuals and follow operating procedures.
