Machine Operator
Our client is looking for a qualified Machine Operator in the Madison area.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently set up and operate all band saws, edge slitters, profile machines, convoluter and down cutter
- Maintain all QC specifications and procedures for each job produced
- Perform all necessary adjustments to produce quality products
- Perform lower level duties when required
- Work safely and obey all safety rules and policies
- Maintain equipment as directed by supervisor
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be able to read prints and make accurate measurements with a tape measure or caliper
- Must be capable of performing all physical requirements for change over and operations, including but not limited to: bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), turning wrenches and other tools, reaching overhead, kneeling, stretching, stooping, and standing for extended periods
Hours may vary and are subject to change without notice
Monday – Friday
Pay rate - $17/hr
